Traditional burial of cremation, Which is a better way to go?
How does that sound? What supporting ideas could I use?
My professor has a very good sense of humor, herally likes pirate jokes though!

OK I'll do it for you. Here is an example of how to write your essay, a pirate joke, and some tips. It's best to not make your thesis a question. A good thesis tells the 3 things you'll talk about in your paper. Never use "you" or "I".

Here is my example:

Many people say that the only thing certain in life are death and taxes. Since everyone will someday die it is important for them to decide where they want their remains to be for all eternity. Since most people don't die at sea it is impractical for them to want to be buried in Davie Jones locker, (find out if that is how that is spelled and if they are "buried" in it or thrown in it, find the right words for your joke or your teacher will think you are dumb), so they must choose something else. The most common ways that people's remains are disposed of is by burial, cremation, or donating their bodies to science.

Then write a paragraph about the pros and cons of traditional burial.

Then a Paragraph about cremation

Then donating bodies

Now write a conclusion. Make it a little like the intro, say something interesting about death and then mention the three points, burial, cremation, and donation again.

I would add a catchy sentance that has something to do with your paper but gets the readers attention. And you need to expand more. A thesis is usually a paragraph long.
