it should be long enough - but if your boyfriend doesn't have marriage on the mind then he's not ready. when a guy decides he wants to be married is when he gets married

Definitely, i knew my man was the one after only a few weeks. To be honest time is not the factor that should determine whether you are ready to marry or who you should marry. What is important is that you are both mature and responsible. That you communicate well, and respect each other. i know my man is the one forever because when i hold him, i feel like i am at home. Ever day isn't perfect, sometimes i don't like him, and we argue. But in the end he is my best friend, the one i want to see the world with, the one who holds me at night, and the one i can't stand to be without. If you share dreams, laughter and tears. If you cannot imagine yourself marrying anyone else, then he is the one, and the time factor doesn't matter, some people stay together for decades and don't love each other. Take a chance!

I have been in the same boat and I have also been engadged after two years. Although two more years and our relationship was over. I would suggest a long engadgement if I were you. If the love is true it won't hurt to wait as you plan to be together years from now anyway. I would give it some time and see if you still feel the same in a couple more years.
Good Luck and God bless.

A relationship that is 2 years strong is a long term relationship.

If you've been together two years and things are still going good then I'd say that's as good a sign as any that there's marriage potential in the relationship.

My husband and I dated for 2 years before we got married, so it is more than enough time to think of getting married. After 2 years you should definitely know if you could spend the rest of your life with him or not.

The subject of marriage should already have come up if you've been dating 2 years and you are over the age of 21.

I would think so, many people get married after a much shorter time. I would think if you've been together for two years, then maybe you're headed toward the chapel of love. Good luck!!

I would say that it is already a long term relationship. I'm sure that you know him well enough by now to seriously consider marriage.

most definitly...I have only been with my boyfriend for one year and i definitly ask myself the smae question. I just dont want to waste my time with a relationship if it isnt going to last. I also want to live together and hopefully get married. I think that if you truly know that you are in love with this person you should sit down and talk to him about it!!! GOOD LUCK!!
