The fear of rejection is extremely high, but right behind that is the fear of trusting. Trusting someone to be careful with those feelings. They've been stepped on before, quite a lot and quite harshly. So I'm a bit careful about who I show them to, you know? But I'm a bit reluctant to share them with men, with even my husband, because my husband isn't an emotional person. He's a very logical person, and he doesn't understand my emotionality at all. It confuses the life out of him and he doesn't know what to do with it. So therefore he tends to either ignore my "complaints" (or he dismisses them as "nonsense") or he gives me a very logical answer that only makes me feel like I'm an idiot for feeling this way (not intentional on his part, but still).

a lot of guys to not think it is manly to let there feelings show...they have to much pride or something....i imagine some guys are afraid of being hurt to or letting there feelings show cause they are afraid of being hurt.....i have heard that some men actually go into a cave kind of when they get to many feelings for someone....they try to back away from there feelings and i do not see how that helps at all...actually i think if anything it would hurt him and the girl that he has fallen in love with...but i had all sons and i have hardly ever seen them cry...they were not very old when they started acting like they were to tough and did not cry or show much feelings...they go off alone though and i imagine that is when they let their feelings out...

I'm always afraid of putting myself out there and getting rejected. The feeling sucks, but it's not as bad as I thought it was. I was rejected once, but I felt better knowing how the other party felt instead of wondering. But, I do believe pride should not be an obstacle when you are in a relationship and giving it an honest try.

Rejection, to be made vulnerable, to have it used against you later, no one likes to be hurt so if you keep your deepest part of yourself inside nobody can hurt you their. Most people are that way. Especially after a deep hurt. Humiliation after a break up..... face it most people are cruel when a relationship ends:-)

Maybe because you're shy specially with boys. Or you just have your own way to show how you feel abouto a person.
