Why is it that, you never run across a sald munching conservative, or a liberal lumberjack. Too many stereotypes?

I have actually run across some men that I was SHOCKED that were democrats. One of them even had a confederate flag tattoo. I later learned that he had a biracial son that he had ADOPTED. Amazing... you cant always tell by the look ya know.

Ha, this is amusing. Conservatives eat salads. You might be talking about class here. Upper class eat salads. There are income statistics on this. People who work for a living need sustained, slow release energy, this is one reason they might eat more meat. It's lifestyle not politics. Republicans would like to make it all part of a lifestyle though. If you are a working class person, being a Republican is part of your lifestyle, you are born to it. Therefore, the Republicans rule forever.
This is also a funny remark by the questioner:
"Why does the sterotypical republican drive large suvs, and trucks while stereotypical liberals often drive compcact or hybrid cars."
Answer: Because they are *Stereotypes*

One of the most important values to a liberal or progressive is empathy. It's really at the core of leftist values. This means that liberals are able to identify with the pains of others including animals. At the core of the conservative value system, however, is fear. They fear that some other bigger car on the road will plow them over if they don't have the biggest car on the road themselves.

Actually, yeah, I do (though not personally). Fred Grandy (played Gopher on Love Boat) is a moderate Republican. He co-hosts the morning show on 630 am in DC. He's a strict vegetarian.

You are as prone to the 'scattergun' approach to criticism
as some of your counterpart-conservative zealots like Raunch Limpbone.
Or maybe we are too-influenced by our own little venues.
I am a Liberal Democrat but am trying not to let my judgement be distorted by my prejudices, politics-wise, of which I have many.
Hey, I'm sounding like a sanctimonious egotist.Thirty.

I think it is up to the person whether or not he or she decides to obstain from meat. Everyone to their on liking. It doesn't have to be Republican, Democrat or whatever. It is a matter of choice.

Why is there so much bias and prejudice on this site. People are individuals and why not view them as that. Bar talk sounds good and solves all the world problems. That is until they sober up and realize it was just talk.
