in series it realy boosts pressure , in paralel it's a ***** to ballance them and mainly good for show on that small an engine.
you gotta have a very strong bottom end street stock parts won't cut it. then you gotta have good head gaskets that can handle the preasure.

I hope you are going to install diamond plated head bolts, because that engine will never survive under that amount of pressure. It would be a more efficient use of your money to swap in a V8. There are single turbo kits available from Ford, but the 2.3 will grenade if you pump that much pressure into the cylinders.

Update: Ford didn't brand the 2.3 GT as a Ford, it was Merkur, and that didn't go over well. How many Scorpio's do you see today? None. Engine problems a' plenty.

years ago, from 1983 to 85 (if i can remember), Ford manufactured a 2.3GT 4-cyl. Mustang. this was only a single turbocharger, a Garrett T2 or 3. i am certain the engineers tested all psi levels and found that psi that the Garrett turbo generated to be the optimal. if you try to double the turbocharge aspiration you may run your fuel/air mixture too lean. if you have two turbos, try to tune and synchronize the turbos not to over intake the air. have fun!
