[ opening mouth - inserting foot ]
(at least he used an adverb to modify his adjective - you don't find that very often on Yahoo! answers)

In case you're referring mostly to how people provide poor or even silly (to use polite language) answers in Yahoo Answers, I believe I've found a way to avoid most of those. Fist of all, specify in the explanation section that this is a "serious question" and to "please do not answer just for points." Something really interesting is that people tend to follow your instructions. But if one doesn't provide any instructions they regard that as green light to just abuse the situation. A good example is when I've asked "Does anyone wish to...(whatever)?" Say 12 people quickly answer "No, thanks." That's silly/stupid. Clearly, it's just points they're after. But if one words questions carefully AND specifies "Hold negative answers. If it's "no" I don't need to know," then surprisingly one gets very few stupid answers.

Well most are in search of intelligence on other planets, like you I'm in search of it on my own planet. First of all points are nothing. But I have learned by asking questions and answering them. Some have really made me learn to use my search engines better. When you quit learning you might as well die. I have always been tough to pray for my enemies but I think we should include the mentally unstable on that list as well. Have a super good day:-) And thanks for letting me get that off my chest.

To answer your question: Yes, there is intelligent life on this site. It matters not how many answers there are which lack clear thinking, if you have only one decently intelligent answer, then there must be intelligent life on this site.
