Why are lesbians so angry?

I'm not trying to generalize but all the lesbians I've met seem to have major chips on their shoulders. One of them is my boss. I try to be nice to her but she is very negative and condescending. She's never in a good mood. Does anyone have any incite on this? I need a serious answer please, not judement.

I have experienced a little of what you describe in the trucking industry. Riverotter got it correct, it's the competition in a man's world and the need to prove their worth. I have seen this usually creates more problems for them. Thus it's a never ending vicious circle and they can't seem to get off the roller coaster. I do know many lesbians that are perfectly happy to go their merry way and quietly live their lives without making waves. I hope you get to meet some of these people someday to dispel your notion that ALL lesbians are angry and negative.

Ther are these types of people in every social group unfortunately. I have met angry lesbians, but Ive actually met a lot more angry divorced women...bitter and angry and often rightfully so. I mean we never know where another person is coming from, what they have seen, done, and lived through, That person may have a very good reason to be bitter or angry. Being negative and condescending is often a sign of insecurities. You are negative so you;re never disapointed and cobdescending....over compensate for one insecurity by spotlighting a strength. If they put you down, it makes them feel elevated. Again, people are like that in ever social group. I'm sorry that the lesbians you have met have given you that impression of us. We are certainly not all like that.

I tend to believe I am a very happy, fun-loving person. I try to be nice to everyone and I love to tell jokes and hear people laugh. But that's just my view, maybe other people think I'm angry too lol.

Wow I have to add that most of your answers are very incorrect. Lesbians are not angry because they can't get a man, there are many many good looking lesbians. And how hard is it really to get a man? I mean really?? come on!! It's generally much harder to get a woman in bed than a man lol...everyone with a half a brain knows that.

Second we don't want a penis,,,on us in us or in front of us. That penis envy crap is very outdated freudian BS. Most straight women won;t admit it, especially in a forum like this, but they know damn well the penis does not get them off... or atleast very often. They can love it, desire it, and dream about it and get horny, but it often times does not do the job that men think it does. Men don;t know that tho, cuz women won't tell em, their ego is wayyyyy too fragile for that.

See i was happy go-lucky til I read those othr answers...THATS when I come off as an angry lesbian...Because people are ignorant...no other word can possibly explain the stupidity of these morons. I pity them and pray they don;t reproduce tiny little dumb f**ks.

Also I odnt know about all, but I have a very good relationship with God. He loves me, I love him....and I think we both laugh at YOU!

Well, I dont know where you are from but as a lesbian myself I most definitely do not have a chip on my shoulder. My friends and I are actually very happy people. Maybe your boss is just a *****. I know plenty of bitchy straight women. I am a supervisor and I people working under me
(all men) and we all get along just fine. But dont think all lesbians are angry and craziness like that. Truth be told, we are some of the coolest and chill people you could ever come across. Think about it, we deal with loser guys and their lame jokes and still keep a sense of humor!

i have a boss who is NOT a lesbian and she is the worst boss I've ever worked for... and I've had lesbian bosses.
I think many, many bosses in general are angry people with negative attitudes.
You need to ask a serious question to get a serious answer.

i have read most of your answers on here and most seem to be judgmental . my opinion is that they are that way because every one has judged them and probably looked down on them . only they know why they act the way they do maybe she is dealing with some depression for some reason . even though she is a lesbo. doesnt mean thats why shes angry at work . most bosses are that way you just have to deal with it but i garentee that her being a lsbo has nothing to do with it .

Unfortunately, Dearheart, many lesbians in positions of power tend to be very serious. They have an "image" to maintain (although I think it's silly to try their hardest to act like a man) and God help anyone who gets in their way. I'm sorry that you haven't met any of us Happy lesbians. A lot of us are chocoholics and are usually smiling......mmm chocolate...whoops, off the subject. Perhaps you may want to schedule an appt with her to discuss your situation, especially if her attitude is making you uncomfortable while at work. Speaking for myself alone .... I am not a generally angry person. I only become angry when I have to deal with ignorant people. I am also a boss. Again with the ignorant people problem. Homophobic, bigoted and hateful people set me off like a bomb.

About the generalization... Never presume to pigeon hole people. Celebrate diversity.

The poor woman has chosen that sinfull lifestyl with all its hate and rebellion because she has been hurt terribly by some one , and she blames God> she chose to have homosexual life , and you can pretty much bet that that is not the only serious sin in her closet.. If she drinks that also causes people to have serious anger issues.. The farther away her demons drive her from God, the worse off she will be, but she will ,probably, never admit it.. Because people keep generalizing about them and asking them stupid questions.

Your boss may be angry for reasons that have nothing to do with who she comes home to at night. Straight bosses and gay male bosses can be negative and condescending, too!
