I think if you will talk with this guy,you'll just have to be yourself.Stop pretending..and you've said that you two have things in common,the more you must be careful every step you make to avoid hurting him.And also try to examineyourself if you really love him or it's just an infatuation..you're still young the book of life still have a lot of pages for discoveries and getting to know more about him....dont be too in a hurry..you might just hurt yourself...

It doesn't sound like you know this guy at all. My guess would be no, he can't love someone he doesn't know. He may develop feelings for the person he imagines you are, but that's just some fantasy in his head.
