She lived at his house free of charge for 8 months with her husband and 2 kids because she could not afford her rent and all of her utilities were getting shut off. Before she moved out of her dads house, she bought all new appliances for her new home and left her old appliances at her dads. She has no money management skill at all. Its pathetic. She comes to her dads now and washes his dishes and charges him. She does not clean off the counter or take out the trash, but she does wash the dishes and leaves them in the drainer to dry. Would you pay her, or would you tell her to put it on a tab. What would you say?

She stood at the door while he and I were in bed and offered to call the police on me to have me kicked out of his house. He pretty much blew her off, but she has a even bigger suprise coming in about 7 months.

I work hard, am very successful and make really good money and do his dishes for nothing in spite of the fact that I work 12 hours a day. I am 42 yrs old and raised 2 kids alone by choice. My kids are respectable an clean, and have been taught to respect our family members and my significant other. (boyfriend) companion, mate, lover or whatever you want to call him.

He probably doesn't know I call her a skank. I call her a skank here because I feel like I can let out my inner feelings amongst those I am asking for advice. She probably knows I think she is a skank. I guess I could call her a lot worse things.

First of all does your boyfriend know that you calls his daughter a skank???She has his blood running through her veins so if she's a skank what does that make your boyfriend out to be?????Really though it sounds to me that there is a little jealousy going on here, i think that you are jealous because your boyfriend is probably giving his daughter and kids more attention then he is giving you right now!!!!But to answer you question NO i don't think it is right for a parent to pay his kids even his grown up children to do chores, they should be willing to do that with a free heart as pay back for all the years of feeding, clothing and raising them!!!!!!

I would tell her to either start paying for those 8 YEARS that she stayed there or get her *** out and learn what REAL LIFE is.
CHARGING TO WASH THE DISHES??? Im living at home; but I do the chores for FREE because if Im gonna be somewhere Im gonna be doing something to help the people Im with.

Tell her to get her *** in gear. Shes married right?? Then she should start acting more like an adult and less like a skank.

Hope that wasnt too harsh.

Wow, sounds like she has daddy tied around her little finger. It's probably about time she grew up. I'm about her age and could never imagine taking advantage of my father like this...I also have 2 children and my first was born when I was only 17. Despite this, I have never even borrowed money from my parents or been back to live with them since! Sounds like she needs to start making some wiser decisions and take better care of her family. Good luck!

My my you sure complain alot about the "daughter"s in your life. First your own daughter and now your bf's daughter. Aren't you a little old to have a bf? This is your bf problem, not yours, keep your nose out of it. Having looked at your questions, it appears you didn't always make the right decisions in your life.

I think that if the situation doesnt bother him then you shouldnt let it bother you... It could possibly be his way to help her out indirectly and he likes doing it for her. Have you asked him how he feels about the situation?

It's probably more right than you calling her a skank.

It's his deal, not yours. Can you change her. Or can you only change how you react to her. There's your answer.
