I'll tell you what I'm thinking: I've had over 60 fractures in the last 14 years due to a wierd bone dsorder that even Mayo can't diagnose. I've had 5 surgeries alone on my left hip and leg. I was scheduled for the final hip replacement, but then a neurologist referred me to a hematologist because they both thought I had an incurable form on cancer called mulitple myeloma.
Several tests and a painful bone marrow biopsy turned out to be fine. I don't have cancer.
But now, since my hip surgery had to be post-poned, I have to wait until Aug 29. Once I recover fully from that, I have to have a laminectomy to relieve the pressure on the nerves to my legs. My feet are numb all the time. Oh, a laminectomy is back surgery where a small amount of bone is removed to relieve the pressure on the nerves.
I've been in a hospital bed in our family room for a year. I can't sit through a movie because it is so uncomfortable.
Add that to trying to influence aging parents who's minds are rapidly deteriorating that they need assisted living.........and I would say I have a LOT on my mind. Fortunately, I have many sources of support, people to talk to. And I have a sense of humor. That's a necessity!!!
You think you know what pain is? Try a dislocated hip. Everything else is just superficial.

(I'm just wondering. In a world, crime, gang violence , rape, sex, why can't people live in a life of pursuit of happiness? when most parent out there are ready to support you for the smart things you've going to do but you end up doing the wrong thing. Even though if you're parent are not there to support, you still have someone or somebody you loved that they want you to support them, why won't you do it for them instead of you? are we human greedy?, doing things in desperate needs instead of looking inside someone heart, you looked into yours.)

i'm thinking about how good natured my poor little dog is... the kids are roughing him up as we speak... the poor dog went on a baby buggy ride today... and a ride in my daughters bicycle basket. AND she made him walk around the block wearing a cabbage patch diaper and a baby bonnet... POOR BOY!
