I recommend trying "Operation: Inner Space"
The main premise of the game is that you're computer has become infected with viruses, causing your computer's icons to escape and run amok. You're goal is to fly into your computer (using a ship of your choice) and to recapture your icons. Along the way you'll come across allies that you can help, enemies to destroy, if you break the law the cops will try to arrest you or destroy you, and every now-and-then you'll come across a black hole with a demon inside who's only goal is to destroy you.
Inner Space uses your own hard drive, in other words, the more stuff that you have on your hard drive, the longer the game will be. The game itself comes on one floppy disk and it can run on any Windows operating system from 3.1 to XP.
The website that I'm giving you a link to has a free trial of the game, so you can try it and if you like it then you can by it.
I hope you try Inner Space, I've had the game since 1995, and it's still the best PC game that I have ever played.

i think a great rpg is elder scrolls IV oblivion and a great first shooter is half-life 2:episode 1 if you want an online for free game get guild wars and guild wars factions =)

lotr 2 for the pc or the xbox 360 ... the pc has an expansion pack now too add on so its prob better than 360 cuz u can play online for free too.... titan quest too for pc

i have NwN, Battle Realms, and Halo, all for PC. i ahve Jade Empire for Xbox and im impressed with them all. CAN BE GOREY. especially NwN if you have the gore setting to mature and "chunking" ha ha ha. you'll find out if you play it. ha ha ha.
