ah, that is easy, being born. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was just hanging around sucking my thumb, and my water-bed broke. Then I rushed out of this cave toward a light with the water and this guy grabbed me by my legs and spanked me. Suddenly, the gaseous environment started rushing into my mouth and down my throat and I felt alive, really alive. I met this really cool woman that fed me through my mouth not my belly. Oh, yea, that was traumatic, they cut my feeding tube - scared the hell out of me, what a rush.

Hmm, okay, how to begin? I grew up in a scary family. Very dysfunctional bunch. They hurt me badly. So one day, a few years ago, I'm outside one beautiful autumn morning with my dog and a cup of coffee. It's quiet, there's a patch of fog rolling through, it's just cool enough to make me shiver. Anyway, the night before someone from my family had phoned and tried to pull some of the same old garbage. I ended up just hanging up and I was so shocked they never called back. See, I figured they would always hound me to my grave, it seemed my cross to bear. But I now lived in a different city and had a family of my own, this had been so for quite some time at that point, and I wasn't going to expose my own children to my family's nonsense. So I'm standing there, the dog is lying down at my feet and I'm thinking about my childhood and what happened the night before and my own kids and then it hits me, bam!
My. Family. Can't. Hurt. Me. Any. More.
It was a very empowering moment. All at once my shoulders felt lighter and my heart beat without burden. I went inside and everybody and everything looked...I can't put it adequately into words...better, brighter, more free, right. Everything looked right.
Wow, I'd completely forgotten about that and thinking about it makes me feel so good. We've been going through a rough patch and now I realize maybe things aren't so bad. Thanks!

My english project paper was selected as the best one in class and it was read alound by the same lady professor who had reprimanded me several times earlier for not getting my sayings in paper properly.
