A wraparound straight. It would only count if the dealer (in a home game) had called them ("tens are wild, wraparound straights, skip straights").

No. In no scenario would that be a straight.

But exactly what defines a straight depends on the type of poker variation you're playing. In the majority of poker games the following applies:

A straight can either start at 2 and go upwards:
2, 3, 4, 5, 6

Or end with Ace and go downwards:
A, K, Q, J, T

Or be any of the combinations inbetween, i.e.:
6, 7, 8, 9, T

No, it has to be an Ace, King, Queen, Jack, and 10 or a 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. A flush can be anything as long as they are of the same suit.

So your hand is: A A ok ok Q yet your chum has: ok ok ok A J So your chum has 3 of a sort or journeys. you have 2 pair with a queen kicker. In poker journeys beats one or 2 pair every time. so which you chum wins.

Nope. The Ace can be low or high but a straight doesn't wrap around.
