I just researched it & learned that it was a 4.7 quake centered near Santa Rosa in Glen Ellen (about 40 miles from SF)

Well I live in Tennessee and I can honestly say I didn't feel a thing. We never have Earthquakes here.... I have been here in the Tennessee valley for over forty years now and I have never felt the ground shake ever, not once. I can't imagine what that would feel like.... why do you people live there?

Not here in Reno, but according to the CalTech website, it was 4.5 and just outside Santa Rosa.
