What 'street' games did you play as a kid?

I played ball in the street, jumped rope, played "Mother May I?", red light green light 123, hopscotch. I'm lookin for some games that I will be able to teach my son when he gets to be a bit older. (He's only 1, now)

I played tag and mother may I.My favorite was boys chased the girls.
