history of yesterday is fairly simple, you could write a paper on the history of the last second. History is anything involving the past, so once I send this response to you, it will be considered a history.

All you have to do is either write a page about what you did yesterday, or what others did, or even easier read some news articles dated Aug 1st 2006 and describe them. One page should be real easy.

Yesterday is tomorrow's version of what's happening right now, or whatever has happened in the past.
Remember that history is defined by perspective of the person writing it, so your history might not be the same as mine, or of your teacher.

The history of yesterday could mean like in the 1950's or even in recent years. I would think about how the past has influenced our present situation and then go from there. Good luck.

you have choices;
the history of 'yesterday' the word as in its etymology...how the word evolved, where it came from
the history of yesterday could be what happened yesterday, like what was in the newspaper or on tv yesterday
the history of yesterday could be about how it has been used in songs or on tv, like songs about yesterday or with the word in the lyrics

it could be a objective description of yesterday, the weather and how you felt.

usually history is reserved for things farther away in the past than yesterday. so you could go for the idea that what happened yesterday is so recent it's not yet part of history, hasn't achieved that status.

"history of yesterday" usually means tell her what happened in the news yesterday that would be remembered as "history"
Look at online news sites for instance and decide what is interesting enough to be written about or alluded to in the future,

For example, had you been given this assignment on 9/12/2001, you would've written about the WTC attacks on 9/11.
