I wonder if this is only a coincidence between a few commercials or if the people shooting them hose them down beforehand because they want them to look wet and clean???

The one I just saw was for Ambien I think and tho the sidewalk was washed down it had like three hundred pieces of gum on it. Guess they don't need it to look clean enough to scrape that stuff off, lol.

lol!!! that is so funny....I just saw a car commercial and the sky was sunny, not a cloud, yet the road was wet.....I said someone really had to go.........

I think it is because the wet gives better color to the pavement and makes it look cleaner.

It sounds like they hose them down for a darker and shiny effect. Think about it, if they left them dry they would look almost with and wouldn't stand out, and any stain or flaw would show up.
