I've had this awesome idea for a great invention for years. From time to time, I try to find affordable ways to either sell my idea, or a way to patent it without it costing a fortune. I know it would be worth the risk to put out the money, but my niece tried a patent company, and they never delieverd her promises made, and she was out thousands of dollars.
About 20 years ago, I had the idea to open a teabag and replace the tea with freshly ground coffee, staple back shut. Hence, the COFFEE SINGLE. Wasn't but a few years later did I see that on the shelf, and wished I had acted then. What can I do to get this off the ground with minimal expense??

Set up a website and start selling using a service mark which is not as good as a patent but will work for a while tp protect you. Most ideas are protected by the fact that you are actually in business selling the idea thus the service mark.
