i tried toothpaste but it didn't work that good. please tell me a remedy, i want to eliminate the redness and shinyness.

crush an aspirin and mix it with water to make a paste. spread the paste on it.
You could also try any product with salicylic acid in it.

tea tree oil helps tremendously usually when i get a cyst or a red large pimple i use that and within 24 hours its gone done almost all the way gone and you can usually find tea tree oil in the health food "hippy"section of any nice grocery store or a store like Trader Joe's or Trader Vic's or Lazy Acres

Be careful don't touch or squeeze it or it could become infectious and turn into an abscess - where is the spot? It might be an ingrown hair.

well i am using H2o+ over night anti acne treatment gel ,th.ough is slow but it is also clearing the previous acne marks...& its workin pretty good ,but its gradual in its processing .....another friends tea Tree oil's idea is also lookin good ........keep trying ...althe best !!!
