I believe that the average is around 4 months, but it's different for everyone, and it doesn't necesarily depend on your weight. It has a little to do with genetics, a lot to do with how you're carrying the baby and how much weight you gain.
I've always been naturally slim, and I don't have those 'toned' abs that they say help your pregnant belly, but with my pregnancy (my first), I didn't show until 6 months, and even then, depending on what I was wearing you couldn't tell at all. I was wearing a big t-shirt at a restaraunt when I was about 32 weeks along, and the waitress (a mother of 2, just coming back from maternity leave herself) didn't even notice until something was said.
But my sister-in-law, whose build is naturally slightly larger than mine, began showing at about 3 1/2 months. Also, she carried her daughter a lot lower than I carried my son, and in the end, she had gained more than twice the weight that I did (since with my terrible morning sickness, I lost 15 lbs before I gained anything).
A lot of people are answering because nearly every pregnant woman, women with babies and toddlers, and women trying to conceive love to talk about anything babies.

There is not a rule as to when someone will visibly show.. Some people show within 5 weeks, some don't until they are five months. Both can be normal depending on the person's build, and whether they have been pregnant or given birth before. BTW, a woman's weight does not determine when she will show. The only way this would factor in is if they are significantly obese. Very thin people can take a long time to begin showing if their abs are very toned, holding the uterus in a more upright position.

It all depends on the size of the woman, if you are anywhere from 120-150 pounds if might start to show around 3.5-4 months, for overweight woman you may only notice a "belly" during to 7-9 month.

Usually anywhere between 4-6 months. In my case when i was pregnant I started showing at 2 1/2 months.
But it really all depends on the woman.

It depends on the woman and her body. I just saw this show on E! that said that the actress Hunter Tylo successfully sued Aaron Spelling because he fired her from doing Melrose Place because they found out she was pregnant before filming started. 2 years later, they go to court about it, and Tylo walks in all slim and gorgeous and announces that she is currently 8 months pregnant with another child! And you couldn't AT ALL tell. Needless to say, she won the case because she could have acted on the show and nobody would have known!

it is usually around 4 months depending on the size that you are now. If you are larger (not being mean) in the first place then it will take longer, and if you a, then it could be sooner.
Congratulations

It totally depends on the person. Some people start showing after a few months.....some ladies you can't tell that they are pregnant the whole 9 months.

Usually for most women about 4 months.
I'm very interested because my fiance and I want to have a baby....so I read through the pregnancy questions and answers all the time. A lot of men want to be parents or have pregnant girlfriends/wives so they may be searching through because they're interested too...more power to them! :)
