How about car washing?
How about a spaghetti dinner? You could ask someone to donate the home made sauce and the pasta. You could also have some kind of contest ( dance, which is fun, and can be done outside in the summer, You did not mention what kind of olympics...A marathon maybe?... Those could be held along with your olympics.
Dear heart :
you need more motivation... If it doesn't involve a lot of money or people to to it, chances are you may not succeed. Be positive, ask around for help.
A donation would be perfect for your fundraiser. You need to find the right person who is interested in what you are doing and will help you to realize your project.

Contact other event organizers (sporting events, plays, fairs, auto races) and see if they will pay you or your group to sell tickets or programs or drive shuttles. Tell them how many people you have and that you are trying to raise money. It's a way to make money for your group and have fun at the event at the same time.

Get the kids at the local high school to go around with jars on their lunch breaks and collect spare change every day for about month, wait it's summer, but when they are in school they have deep pockets, and are always willing to give.

Car washes always bring in a rack of money. especially for a good cause! you can get car wash and sponges at the dollar general and lots of places let you hold them in their parking lot for free, tell them what its for they'll provide you with water and maybe even free drinks, i suggest trying dominos or rite aide, we've done both, good luck!
