I used to be. the music was fun (not gloomy) the dancing was fun, the clothes and hair were fun. I loved the 80's!
I finally gave in. I wear t's and jeans and straight hair and in general look boring and generic! I refuse to wear hiphuggers and bellbottoms because we haven't quit laughing about wearing them in the 70's.
(Yes, I'm that old.)

i'm only 18. i'm secretly obsessed over the 80's. i wish i born sooner so could have truly indulged in the fantastic makeup, amazing clothing, and the bad *** teen culture!

hang on im just adding some more feathers to my hair, and pulling up my leg warmers....just gotta adjust my bubble skirt, grab my raybans, put on my stick on mole, tear a few holes in my panty hose and grab a few more bangles, oh and bump up my getto blaster... wham is playing..............ok, now, no i dont know anyone still living in the 80's.

Yep! My uncle!lol! He still where's the bell bottom pants and likes to go to old disco parties on Saturdays.He really needs to shave that Afro and stop saying,"Dino-might!"Lol!

I lived through it,I was in my early twenties,and I honestly do not remember the disco ball.I am sure it was somewhere above my ratted hair,or puffed shoulder pads,obscured by those(popular in Buckhead,Atl) b52 shots!! LOL...
