I don't know why you do but whatever you do make sure you really want it! I was a little skeptical about getting my nose pierced, I was afraid of the pain and so on but I really loved how a little diamond stud looks on a nose. Now it looks great, but because I was so afraid of the pain, I actually passed out for about 10 minutes. So be ready!

It could be for many reasons. You could want to shock your parents, or fit in with a certain crowd, you may like the way it looks, you may want to stand out from your friends or your siblings. If you don't know why you want to do it, I would say that you are not thinking straight. find out why before you do get a piercing. Then if you want to and you are old enough...go ahead.

Because it's a way of expressing yourself. Using you body as a canvas for art. And a benefit for piercings over tattoos is they're not permanent. You can let the skin grow back. They don't have the lifetime commitment tattoos do.

and they look good
