How come when white people make jokes about black people, they're being racist. When black people make jokes about white people they're just being funny? That realy bothers me! If I make a joke about a black guy im racist.Thats like saying black people are better then white people...well they're not! No ones better were all the same, why can't most people in both races have respect for each other. Why can't we all just get along?

Two wrongs don't make a right. I have to agree. I can listen to ethnic jokes about my background and am not offended, but as a child i was because I knew people wanted just wanted to hurt me. As an adult, I don't care and I can laugh. I think people of color may be more sensitive to off-color humor when it comes from a white person because of past hurts. They may not be sure of a white person's true motives and conversely.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

You're right, it's reverse discrimination and it's not fair. It's not only a black and white issue it's a male, female issue also. We women can have "ladies only" gyms and the guys don't care, but if men try and have a "men only" gym they are picketed and we women cry no fair all over the courts and newspapers.

If anybody says anything the NAACP steps in and has a hayday. they make the black person out to be a martyr when they're just as responsible as the white person that said it. i'm not racist at all i just hate the double standard.

It's slightly humorous, isn't it? It might have something to do with black people being slaves way back when.

Yes, it bothers me, but it has been going on for years and is not likely to stop any time soon.
