go to auto parts store and have them look up the correct cap for your car. It might have been changed or gone bad. Its spring loaded for pressure.

Go to the garage, they will do the cooling system pressure test. If the pressure drops they will look for a leak. If it's in the engine cylinders, most likely it's the head gasket or the cracked head.
They also may perform in- and out- radiator hose temperature test to check the radiator.
What else - could be clogged radiator, could be bad thermostat, etc. Take it to a dealer or a garage - they know what to do.

the reservior for the anti-freeze is simply made to be a place for the anti-freeze to go when the radiator gets hot, because its summer, you should have a mix of anti-freeze and water. what could be happening is that you have too much anti-freeze in the radiator. its still driveable but if it keeps doing that for more than about a week you should get it looked at.

You may not have any problem at all. Are you filling the overflow tank too full? If so you'll get this effect. Just fill it, cold, up to the line marked "full - cold" or something similar.

bad cap or loose clamp, could also be a crack in the radiator where the cap fits on or else where.
