Fighter Jet Flights?

Question

One thing my boyfriend wants to do before he dies & is a dream of his is to fly in a fighter jet!! I live in VA... am willing to travel for about 5-7 hours to get where I need to be... but where can I go and how much does it cost... and do I have to do anything special?

I believe the only sure way to get a fighter jet ride is to go to russia because they sell rides in military jets for $3,000 american dollars. they are Mig 29's
and cool planes. the only way I have ever heard of a civilian getting a ride in
a fighter in the U.S. is when the blue angels or thunderbirds give demo rides to the press before an airshow. good luck
