Never click an unsubscribe link in an email unless it is to a reputable vendor with whom you have an established business relationship.

By clicking an unsubscribe link from a strange email all you are doing is confirming that your e-mail address is valid, thereby adding yourself to even more spam lists.

There is no way to stop them really other than changing your email address as once you are on the list you are there forever.

My suggestion is to have 3(at least) email addresses. 1 that you give out to online vendors, forums, etc, a second that you give to family and friends who are they type to send you random links and crap that can get you put on even more spam lists and a third that you guard with your life and only give to those net savvy enough to not spam your box.

Using those 'unsubscribe' links found in spam e-mails doesn't actually unsubscribes you from spammers' e-mails, they only tell the spammer that your e-mail address is valid and a real person reads the e-mails that go to that account. I have my yahoo mail account set to automatically delete anything that ends up in the bulk folder. Unfortunately there's no definate way to stop spam.

Dude...it's spam. Don't even open them.

How do you not even know what spam is?

Don't open them and don't click on any links in the e-mail...no wonder you keep on getting them if you're trying to unsubscribe.

I don't think you can stop them, just make you mark them as spam, and don't click on any links you find in them.
