i've heard that after ozzfest they are going on hiatus. apparently the lead guitarist is taking control of the band, and the lead singer is not happy about it. (sorry, i forget their names, but i do love their music)
usually when a band goes on hiatus, it means a breakup, and several years down the road, a reunion tour and an uninspired cd release. but there have been exceptions. here's hoping.....

is a breaking up of a system really evidence of a system that is still running?

The guy who sings most of Lonely Day looks like his eyes are going to pop out of his head when he sings.
