what i dont understand is why do they let this convicted murder criminals live in prison for so long after being convicted,i think they should be put to sleep right away.

I believe in an eye for an eye...Yes proven criminals ( without a doubt) should have no chance at live just as there victims.They should not live off the state and enjoy anything

i think that capitol punishment is not the greatest idea in the world; however some people would look at it as the easy wAy out, rather than having to spend years living with the knlwledge of whaat they have done. i think this could be the worst punishment anyone could have considering that thay still have the priviledge of living and they have taken that right away from some one else.

Depends on the crime. Some people are so full of unwarranted hate that they do not deserve to live among decent people, and I, for one, do not want to pay for them to live out their miserable lives in prison.

Hate it. Criminals, like rapists and murderers, should suffer the way they made their victims suffer (I know that sounds sadistic, it really isn't). They don't deserve a quick and painless death.

Give the murderers and rapists one year, if they are convicted and can't form any legitamit legal course then implement it.

If you really did commit the crime and you are proven guilty beyond a doubt, then you deserve what you get. And I'm speaking as a liberal here.
