why are my pics different types when they all came from the same scanner? i want to change the .pdf ones to either .gif or .jpg so i can put them on myspace. i tried to load them to photobucket and even that doesnt support .pdf images? so is there a free site i can load them on to get them on myspace or either a free site to change the image types?

ok... when i click save as it lets me name the pic but doesnt let me change the type... and i didnt say anything about adobe, i was not using adobe or saving it in adobe or doing anything with adobe at all so yeah that answer is wrong

i do click the down arrow when i save as for the type... it just has one type there so i have to pick that one. it doesnt give me a choice.

One better: check out the DOWNLOADS section to www.cnet.com and there, you'll find photo programs that can change a .gif to .jpg with one click. You can screen for FREE programs as well.

Below where you'd type the name of the picture, there should be a space indicating what file type it is.
Click the "down arrow" at the end of the space's right side and you should get a list of file types and select "jpg" "jpeg" "gif" etc...

.pdf isnt an image it used for pdf documents with adobe
right click on all the pictures you want when you have started adobe reader
press save as and save as ".gif"

Click on the picture in your viewer and then click save as when the box comes up for you to name it, you will also be able to save it as what ever you want it to be ex gif, jpg

Right click on the pic...and choose "Save Picture As" ...then use the dropdown tab and choose your format.
