I had hoses blowing off the discharge side of my above ground pool. Brand new pump with DE filter system. Starts off at 10psi with new earth but quickly creeps up to 18 and up. Hoses stopped blowing off when I removed the eyeball at the discharge port going back into the pool but still looking at about 20psi after very little run time. Someone said that its possible that the manifold grids in the filter housing could be collapsed which may create a restriction? What components CAN cause a restriction?Idunno. All new stuff. I give. ANY Ideas are welcomed!! Tank You!

I have been using the recommended amount of DE according to pool size and filter capabilities. I will try less DE and see if the Psi drops. Thanks! Good ideas everyone!
