ive heard that in 2007 people have to have their permit for a year, or they need to be 17 before taking the permit, and i want to know what is exactly true regarding getting a permit, how long you need to have it before taking the licence test, age you need to be, id like to know the true deal with permits in 2007.

if u were born after 1990, u have to wait until 16yrs old to get a permit and wait till 17 to get a licence.....yea i kno it sux

depends on the state you are in... most state official websites have a link to their division of motor vehicles section ... a simple search well get you to your states website... good luck
