Without a bra, boobs weigh downwards b/c of gravity. So there is some degree of sagging (some boobs more than others depending on age, size, shape, etc).

However when a woman's boobs are submerged in water, do they lift upwards, i.e. float up, or do they just sag a little less?

And do very large breasted women float easier than very small breasted women?

I can't tell .. when I see a woman's breasts in the water it is hard to know if they are floating, sinking or bobbing up and down. Or if it is just my head bobbing up and down. Generally, nipples poke out if the water is a bit colder than the outside temp, so I'm pretty much honed in on that.

This is one of the greatest questions ever asked on this site. I will certainly give it a LOT of thought and conduct numerous scientific experiments. For those with D cups who claim they float like life preservers, I'll be taking notes. For those who say they tend to sink a little, I'll be under the water calibrating the speed of descent. For those who have fake boobs, I'll put you in a separate category and compare the results with real boobs to see if there is a meaningful difference statistically. Sweetie, if they are within the margin of error, you should ask yourself if the surgery was worth it.

Of course, volunteers for my experiment are welcome.

Again, this is the question for the ages.

The real ones are not bouyant. And no, the large breasted women do not float easier than the very small breasted women. If that were the case, you wouldn't really see very many men or boys floating would you?

If you have Grandma saggy boobs then they may float to the top. If you have normal like size 32, 34,36, those types of sizes they will stay under the water...mostlikely.

The women at the beaches and pools I go to wear swimsuits. Can't tell if they float or not. I'd think they can't float any higher than your face, but who knows. I guess if they are really, REALLY floppy... But I am not that large-chested. I would think the bigger the butt would make more difference.

Yes they are, if they are real.

Silicone ones turn as hard as cement in water. I think saline ones float.

I have E cups and they are definitely extremely bouyant - I do float like I'm wearing a life preserver.

it really depends on age & size. some tend 2 become perky in water and make the nipples hard & others may sag & become droopy.
