i have em and i have nothing better to do with them...obviously.
ive done them before but i was with a couple of other people...so i dunno if i should do them by myself or not..

Is drinking by yourself a good idea? See if you can wait until a more social time to bust them out. If you can't, it may be an indication that you have a problem.

If it's more than a gram, I wouldn't risk it. You could have a bad trip or something. Also don't drink or smoke pot while doing them. It only intensifies the effect, and if it's a bad experience, I'm sure you wouldn't want it intensified.
