I don't think they are attracted to any color as I can't find any information on it, or maybe I weren't finding hard enough.
Anyway, the females of blood sucking species locate their victims primarily through scent, they are extremely sensitive to the carbon dioxide in exhaled breath, as well as several substances found in sweat. Mosquitoes can detect heat, so they can find warm-blooded mammals and birds very easily once they get close enough.

Do this experiment yoursel.
Put a pot full of milk under light and put some other pots filled with different coloured liquid (you can make them yourself by adding food colours or some sythetic colours).
Now see after two hours. Let me know the results. Don't see below. The answer lies there.
White. You will see mosquitoes are swimming in the milk.

they do not attract to color, The are attracted mostly by the monoxide that animals and mammals produce. Water is a bad area that's where thy lay there larva to hatch. I have heard that they can detect you from a mile away. The encyclopedia will give you the info your looking for.

Actually they are not attractive to no color to me I think that if you are clean or if u are around a lot of water they are attractive to u so if u do not want them to bite u stay away from water and oh yeah they love to be around trees to.

Mosquitoes are attracted to people with dark hair, regardless of race. It is self-
preservation. It's difficult for them to hide in light hair.

The Mosquitoes!!?? Wasn't that the group that landed on Gilligan's Island? I think their names were Bingo, Bango, Bongo and Irving. They were cool. But they were out-cooled by the women of the island. They called themselves "The Honeybees".
