execution- the carrying out of that judgement,,,,ie:" GUILTY... 50 to life" the gavel strikes ...and then that judgement of GUILTY and the judgement of just punishment for that crime "50 to life" is then enacted... executed...carried out by the immediate commencement of that term of 50 years to life in prison by the imprisonment of that convicted person. There is the judgement and then there is the doing of the judgement. The doing of it is the execution, the perfoming of a task =the execution of a task

It basically means enforcing the judgment. I'm an attorney in California. To enforce a judgment, we first get a Writ of Execution. The Writ is basically a certification by the Court of how much money the Sheriff can collect on the judgment. We can then take Writ and have the Sheriff does things like bank account seizures and wage garnishments. We are executing on the judgment.

The end result of a court's decision. In the case of a civil judgement, the "winning" party may "ask" the appropriate law enforcement agency to enforce the judgement by "executing" on the "losing" party's assets (bank accounts, assets, etc...) to satisfy the judgement made by the court.

A judgment is awarded by a Court. When the judgment is carried out it is said to be executed. For example if a court finds that Mr X owes Mr W $500 it can order that the amount be paid by a certain date or failing settlement that a bailiff is entitled to take MR X's goods up a value which could be sold for $500. If Mr X doesn't settle the judgment then the bailiff 'executes' the judgment by taking away and selling Mr X's goods and giving the proceeds to Mr W.

Just what it says! They are going to execute the judgment, probably because someone didn't live up to their part of the deal!

All criminal judgments that carry a jail term, a commitment order is signed!
