Some thing, as distinguished from some one? Yes; many of the things I received as gifts from My Steve are very precious to me. I suppose number one on the list would be the aquamarine necklace I wear all the time. He designed it before he met me, as a sort of "fish lure," if you will. He gave it to me not long after we met over 20 years ago, and I've worn it constantly, except in the shower, ever since.
And yes, there are a couple of puns in my use of the term "fish lure." One is that aquamarine is my birthstone, and I am a Pisces. The other refers to an old jazz song, one line of which is "What's that smells like fish, Momma?" You can figure it out.

My dog!!! He's always there and is always loyal! Infact, he's sitting at my feet right now. One morning he was sleeping with me and he didn't reconize my dad's footsteps coming down the hall, so he jumped off my bed and started barking wildly at my door. That's true love! and it's funny because he's only 8 pounds!
