The IP (Internet Police) have your IP address, so they come to your house in the middle of the night, tie you up and beat you with rubber hoses. Then they leave and you have nothing to show for it but bruises.

You do the following:

* Click on Report Abuse
* A new screen will appear
* You select what type of abuse from a drop down menu
* There is also space to write in comments

Then you click on submit. Off goes the abuse report.

Report someone in what way? If the person finds out you reported them there may be some confrontation so be ready. If you have reported someone because you felt it was the right thing to do, then don't worry. Stand up to what you feel and believe in. What would this world be if everyone just turned and walked away.

The world explodes, killing everyone.

Just kidding. Nothing really happens when a person is reported. Yahoo doesn't really kick anyone unless the person has been reported like crazy. If that happens, then the person returns with a new screenname.

After a certain amount of reports, the person is booted...however, they just come back with a different name.

Yahoo sends them a report saying who reported them and why then they get a chance to ask you why and make ammends.

The person you reported gets pissed off because you reported them for something dumb....like categorizing your question wrong....and they hunt you down, saw off your testicles, cut out your spleen and dump you into a large pile of salt.
