No. I had a job where i had to stand all day- i did it for a year. that had pretty much exerciseand every day i had terrible backaches.
Whereas i had an office job for two years where I don't need to stand up at all-totaly opposite from other. it did give me a little backaches in staring but as soon as i started getting up and walk little bit inbetween, the backache stopped.
so I think a "sitdown" job doesn't get you MORE backaches and you could solve the backache problem just by streching your body little bit. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it depends on your posture and the chair or seat you are using. I get backaches from driving for an hour, but not from sitting at my desk 8 hours straight. Moving around and getting up frequently should help.

My heavens, I under no circumstances had been flashed, however I did accidentally flash a couple of humans as soon as. I used to be within the sanatorium a while again and determined to take a stoll to the merchandising field. Well, I wasn't considering what I used to be dressed in and, allow's simply say that the ones sanatorium robes do not go away plenty to the creativeness at the bottom. The nurse got here up from in the back of me and placed a blanket over my shoulders . . . I used to be puzzling over why it used to be somewhat drafty again there!

Many employers do not make ergonomics part of their responsibilities having to do with a person sitting at a desk. You may want to check and see if your feet hit the floor when sitting, or if you can change your desk, up or down to make it easier on your back.

I would say it contributes to it. You are not up moving around and stretching. I had an office job for 10 years and my back always hurt. You might try some lumbar support and a good chair.

Definitely, specially if you sit all day. You should interrupt what you're doing and take a small walk every two/three hours.

It can if you're slouching in your seat or have a bad chair. Try moving more when you can.
