I love that show!!! It is probably very hard to get on it though so keep watching and get some good ideas. Also check out the fashion magazines for good ideas. You don't have to spend $5000 on a new wardrobe!
I am always getting complemented on my outfits and I shop at Mervyn's, Target, Pennys, Old Navy, Ross and Marshalls. I never buy anything that isn't on sale!

One thing I have learned is to always buy "outfits" rather than pieces. You may find a great top and get home and have nothing to wear it with so it sits in your closet. Always buy a top and bottom at the same time that way you know you have a complete outfit.

Go through your closet this weekend and get rid of anything that is not a classic which is over 5 years old. Then try on everything else. If it doesn't fit you right now don't hang on to it, toss it. Then go on a little shopping spree. Everything is marked down right now getting ready for fall so there are great bargains out there! You should be able to get an outfit for $20 or less.

The 80's were a time of great music and big hair. The clothes likeability factor are totally individually based. If you like it, the heck with everyone else. You are your own person!

My clothes style is mainly stuck in the 70's. The funny part is, I didn't even grow up in that era! I'm only 25! But, bell bottoms are the best thing ever! I'll never give them up!

Hey your in luck because it looks like the 80's style is coming back slowly but surely. So if you hold out just a little longer you won't need to update.

If you really want some help with your clothes go to a trendy place, such as old navy, american eagle or any kind of boutique or something, and get maybe a short sleeve shirt that you like, some jeans or shorts and maybe a belt if you want. You don't need to overdo it. Also if you really like dressing that way, then do it. Dress however you want.

I've thought that myself, but not because I need a new wardrobe. Because, I've want $5,000 worth of free clothes. If you have the cash then just go to the mall or something. Do what you want to make yourself happy.

Open up any fashion magazine, and you'll see you're totally with it. Put on your skinny acid washed jeans and a Bangles T-Shirt and all the neighborhood teenagers will be green with envy.
