KISS. Four guys come into Rock n' Roll at a time when we needed music re-direction, a cool-down from all the radical psychedelic, anti-Vietnam scene.
KISS not only gave us a new rock sound, they wowed us with their glam persona and mega-huge stacks of amps, blazing bright colored lightshow, explosive pyrotechnics, the story high "KISS" logo.....and kept us wondering who were the guys behind the make-up "masks".
KISS did what it took to be the world's hottest band--and were gutsy enough to take risks with their image and sound; some of their ideas hit; other's flopped. But they rocked and rocked on.
And KISS did it all their way.....and it worked. Many of today's concert acts--of ALL music genres--have embraced the stage setups started by KISS.

Tool. Never have rock and melody blended better than they do with Maynard's beautiful voice.
APC is good too.
I actually like a lot of bands, but since I'm depressed, my list is Tool, APC, AFI, Sevendust, Lacuna Coil, etc...

i love the bled my favorite song by them is red wedding. you should listen 2 that song sometime!

i have to say SYSTEM OF A DOWN. their music is like a roller coaster ride. up, down and speed.
