Something that very few people know the true meaning of. Even though deja vu is French for "already seen", it actually is used to describe the strange feeling you get when you're in a situation, and feel like you've been in the exact same situation before, but really haven't. Most people think it means the same thing happening twice, which is wrong. Get it right people!
Jack: Hrmm..
Bob: What?
Jack: I could have sworn I've been here before. But I know I haven't.
Bob: Heh. Deja vu?
Jack. Yeah. What a strange feeling!
Yeah, I love dat song, but Beyonce looks possesed in her video

Deja-vu translates from French as "already seen". It is the feeling you get when you are in a new place, but you feel like you have been there before.
It happens because your brain doesn't put a time stamp on your mental images as you are looking at this new place. So when you go searching your memory 2 seconds later, your brain doesn't recognize that it just stored this memory and you get the feeling that you've seen the place a 'long time ago'.
P.S. It is deja-"vu". "Vous" is the plural pronoun for 'you', as in 'you all'.

Deja vu is when you see something before it happens. For Example you dream about a friend coming over with a shirt you really like then the next day your friend comes over with the that exact shirt. Hope I helped you out

The feeling that you have been through that particular condition.
Sometime in your life, when doing something, suddenly you get a feeling that you have been in the exactly the same situation. You don't know why, but the feeling is strong. Should check with your past life experience, or parallel universe theory.... ( just kidding, to show you the feeling)

It's when you feel like you are re-living or re-doing something, or like you've already done/seen/heard it before.
