Oh my god! I am still a Monkee Freak. I watched every show and if the vcr had been invented back then I would have watched them over and over. I was gonna marry Davy. I even have a school book with my name written as Mrs Davy Jones. Oh does this bring back good times. I even remember when Davy was on the Brady Bunch. Sigh....I just can't believe it was that long ago and that I am this old!

Have you seen their one-and-only movie titled "Head" (1968), co-produced by Jack Nicholson?? It's absolutely stream-of-acid-consciousness, with cameos by Frank Zappa, Victor Mature, Annette Funicello (!), Sonny Liston, Carol Doda etc.
If you haven't, your Monkees viewing experience is incomplete.
It's a bizarre bust-up!

Absolutely - I (like every other 13 yr. old girl) was in love with Mickey Dolenz. Never missed a show.
