how do you tell your boyfriend to stop asking for money without actually telling them?

First, why are you giving him money? Second, why is he asking for it? If he's too cheap to get you things, which the man should always do then dump him. Do you wanna be the one giving and giving and recieving cheap things in return? I wouldn't so just say "Stop being cheap, get a job (if he doesn't) or move on!"

I don't think you can do it without actually saying it. The only thing I can think of is if maybe you continue to talk about how broke you are and you have a friend that keeps asking for money and it annoys you. Hopefully if you put it that way he'll get the point.
