I can't understand after almost 3 decades MaDonna is still popular; besides singing and and having a minor movie career; now trying to make a musical career come back; didn't like her 3 decades ago and still don't like her.

I never did like her much either but for a lot of people her music stands the test of time. Not the early stuff, I will agree totally...but once she got into the 90's she took on a new dimension in her songwriting and performance. Madonna has a great voice and has grown into it over time.
As I said, she isn't my favorite. Really she's not for me at all. I'll tell you what still gets me off even after all these years...Led Zeppelin! As far as I am concerned they were so far beyond their time it was unreal! Hendrix was that way too. The Doors still kick some serious tail as well. The Who will always be immortal. The Scorpions will never die.
I'll tell you who kick's Madonna's butt worse than anyone though...The Beatles!

Cause she is the Best, i mean check every Album, what do u think? when she released American Life, everybody just went crazy over the album Caz the music was brilliant and now after that BANGGGGGGGGG she did it again with one of the best music producers in the UK, the latest album is banging here in London with somany remixes from good Dj's like Paul Oakenfold...
Anyway what I'm saying is that she dances well, she sings well, her music is Music, and her lyrics are just so well to fit the music and they have meanings as in MEANINGS, I'm not talking about some hip-hop crap or anything, I'm talking about music and lyrics, and besides i'm proud, she is 47 and still feeding ppl with her music...
She is the best

I completely feel the same way. I think the media hypes her up too much and gives so much publicity to her that people still feel that she is that great. I have never liked her music...and most likely never will.

THE ONLY THING SHE HAS GOING FOR HER IS HER SEXUALITY-- I MEAN LOOK AT HER- THAST WHAT ALL OF HER MUSIC IS ABOUT- EVEN HER CONCERTS ARE LIKE A PORN VIDEO.....
SHE USES HER SEXUALITY AS A FROM OF POPULARITY AND KEEPING HER HOLDS ON HER LISTENERS ETC
