The breakdown of Israel's Suddam Hussain is one big one. How many soldiers we lost as part of it is another. Bush will be loved and hated at the same time for both being brave and insensitive at the same time. Of course, there's the whole september 11 attack and how that woke the USA up that we are targets and have always been targets. Also, this era is considered the information era. We'll probably be known for having so much infomation and technology at our feet and not doing enough good with it. We'll also be known for being very wasteful with food, merchandise, etc. And of course, the sad fact that we're always helping other people to the point that we're forgetting about our own people/families. It'll be interesting to be able to read about ourselves way into the future.

I can only PRAY .

This Mother and her Children stood against the World!
They did not care about celebrities, hairstyles, fashion or any other of the latest trends in the world. They did not conform to the latest protest or outrages sweeping the World!

They stood strong and conquered the bias of so many!

The descendants are now living, peacefully in the Foothills and expect a long, happy, healthy, FREE life.

In 2056, they will still be discussing illegal immigration and still have done nothing as far as building a fence. Oh and by that time 1/4 of the population will be mexican.

I believ the biggest thing our children will ask about is 9/11 and the war in Iraq. It's a monumental event that we have experienced first hand, they will be curious of the experience first hand rather then from a text book!!

I love your question ......... but to be honest, it would probably be the time (era) where almost every country in the world was involved in a conflict, either with each other or within each other. Don't know if you are paying attention but not including the big Western powers, all African and almost all Asian countries somehow are also having lots and lots of civil wars (not including war with nature) ...... it is just sad.

This current Middle East Crisis might be history worthy in 50 years if it continues and escalates to full-out war.

We will have no future! Third world countries have nuclear capabilities and they are sucide attackers. They don't care if they destroy the earth. Grown ups don't care if the earth is destroyed by global warming they will have made their billions and grown old and died. Leaving no future of us.
So we won't live long enough to write anything.

9/11, the war, and maybe hurricane Katrina. What is said about them will depend...In the case of the war, it will depend on how it comes out. Also how people's values and perspectives have changed by then will determine how they are discussed.
