How do you think writing for college courses will differ from the kind of writing you have done in the past?

the writing will be much longer, harder, and wik more advanced vocabulary.

ive just started college and one of my first classes is college writing. godess help us all. It is very technical, and at the same time the professors want your writing very clear cut and consise. dont lally-gag or run on, huge points will be taken off. Stick to subject, make sure you know who your reader is, sometimes profs ask you to choose an audience do not generalize...like "college students" or "the elderly".. you want specifics like "young women, ages 13-16, over weight, with glasses and bad haircuts" very specific. also when they say 300 to 500 words they mean it

Well I'm only a freshman in high school but I think that writing a paper for college won't be very diffrent.

I heard that depending on what major you have you write in different forms ex: MLA ext.

lol..You have to pay a lot more to do it in college!! Way overpriced!! And when you was in school it was FREE. But someone haves to pay them overpriced Poindexter Teachers!!! in college..
