I don't think that makes you superstitious.
Superstition: 1 a : a belief or practice resulting from ignorance, fear of the unknown, trust in magic or chance, or a false conception of causation b : an irrational abject attitude of mind toward the supernatural, nature, or God resulting from superstition
2 : a notion maintained despite evidence to the contrary
There is no evidence to the contrary :-)

No, most everyone in history had some concept of a higher power. I think it's arrogant of atheists to assume that practically everyone for the last few thousand years was ignorant or superstitious.

No. Superstition is defined as an irrational belief in the magical effects of a specific action especially if the action done to bring good or bad luck.

It is very subjective. I think one has to have faith in something to keep you going. A motivation to strive, climb up the social & coporate ladder. For some God may mean their work, for others it may be their heros they look up to...or any other source of inspiration. In nutshell having deep faith or trust in something that helps you in difficult times in NOT being supertitious.

No. Not at all. But, I encourage you to do more than just "believe" in Him. The devil even knows he exists. Now, read your Bible, ask Him into your heart and life, and follow him.

only if you think that by believing that something good or bad will happen. to believe is to believe, to live your life believing that your belief will create something is superstition. only you can create something, not your belief in it
