I cleaned one of my makeup bags today becasue it was getting pretty nasty. But now the goo gone smell wont go away and it gives me a terrible stomach ache. Any help to get the smell to go away?

Goo Gone is not meant to be used on vinyl or plastic because they are porous materials. If your makeup bag is made of these synthetic materials, I think you're going to have to get another one.
I use Goo Gone to remove 30-year-old carpet adhesive off pine stair treads and thought the citrus smell in the stairwell was just heavenly the next morning. But you're right about it giving you a headache when you first use it.

Stuff the bag with newpaper. You may have to change the paper a couple or three times but it worked for me when my cat got sprayed from a skunk and sat in my lounge chair.

I think you mean that citrus smell right? Anyways, just wash it out with warm soap and water.

Try a vinegar and water wash...Vinegar gets rid of any smells...

Well you can get a new bag or throw it in the washer.
