Might i suggest, before you buy that one.. look on this site
www.newegg.com and see if you can get one similarly priced
Now then if you want to continue with the used one off amazon, now for if it will work physically thats dependent on the seller, if they say it works thats the best i can give you... Now considering it actually works, a wireless router should be fairly new, aslong as its wireless b or g, you should be good to go, basicly plug and play..
good luck

Hard to say but if the hardware is working ok you can always "reset" the router, but honestly if its used there is a reason they are selling it. Ive had a lot of wireless router I continually had to reboot. Watch the ads at best buy and get a new one. Stick with Linksys and you will be happy you did.

Wireless routers as a whole do not work well, I would not recommend one. But if you get anything from amazon and it doesn't work, they are good about getting you your money back.

you can never tell
of course, it is possible to get a bad unit even with a new one
my experience with used electronics is that I have had a good experience about 3 out of 4 times
if the item is cheap enough, it is well worth the risk for me
but then, I don't really mind "hasseling" with electronics, its kind of a hobby

Should be a reset button on it that will return it to factory settings. It would be the first thing I'd do. Be sure to check it out thoroughly to ensure that all ports are working. You may also want to try to update the firmware.

If it is a good working unit there will be no problems, if someone is selling you junk, it will be junk
